Winter-Ready Skin: My Top Tips For a Fabulous Glow All Season Long

My favourite month of the year has arrived! As a Scorpio baby, with a baby girl that’s also born in November, I ADORE the cosy jumper season and the start of winter. Although, it is fair to say that winter can be very harsh on our skin with dryness, dullness and lots of skin flare-ups. But don’t worry, I’m going to share with you my favourite tips and tricks on how to look after your skin and get winter-ready for a fabulous glow this season!



Tip #1 - Keep Your Skin Moisturised

The winter chill can leave your skin feeling dry and tight, so it’s essential to boost your moisture game. Here’s how:


  • Switch to a richer moisturiser: Opt for a cream-based moisturiser rather than a lightweight lotion. Look for ingredients like hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and ceramides that help lock in moisture and strengthen your skin’s barrier. What I recommend: ZO Skin Health, Recovery Creme.

Winter is the perfect time to indulge in a little extra skincare:

  • Relax and unwind: Use your mask as a time to relax and unwind. Pop on a soothing playlist or read a book while you let your skin soak up the goodness.

Lastly, remember that cosying up in warm, heated spaces can dry out your skin:

  • Warm, not hot: Keep your shower and bath water warm rather than hot. Hot water can strip your skin of its natural oils.
